Barry Lucas

Engineering, Science & Robotics Specialist at Clayton-Bradley Academy

Barry Lucas is an experienced professional in the fields of engineering, science, and robotics, currently serving as the Engineering, Science & Robotics Specialist at Clayton-Bradley STEM Academy since July 2017. In this role, Barry designs and develops project-based curricula that foster critical thinking and lifelong learning. Prior to this position, Barry co-founded and served as President and CEO of FFD, Inc. from January 2004 to June 2017, where the company provided work instruction software solutions to address operational challenges in manufacturing. Barry also co-founded and led Fast Forward Devices, LLC and held the position of Director of Analytical Services at MTS Systems. Barry's academic background includes a Ph.D. in Materials Science & Engineering from the University of Tennessee, a Master of Science in Materials Science & Engineering from Vanderbilt University, and a Bachelor of Science in Physics from Western Kentucky University.
