Jake Barnet

Jake Barnet is an experienced Energy and Climate Analyst currently employed at ClearlyEnergy since January 2024. Barnet has also served as a Clean Energy Intern with the Commission for Environmental Cooperation, holds the position of Inaugural Fellow for the Generation of Environmental Leaders Program (GELP), and works as a Data Center Community Impact Consultant with the Sierra Club. Previous roles include a Public Policy Intern at BlueConduit, participation in the Next Gen Program with New Buildings Institute, and an Energy Research Fellow with Student Energy. Barnet's internship experience includes roles at the UR Office for Sustainability and FLIPP Inc, as well as a Sustainable Development Intern position at EARTHDAY.ORG. Academically, Barnet holds a Graduate Certificate in Financing and Deploying Clean Energy from Yale University and a Bachelor of Arts in Environmental Studies from the University of Richmond, alongside other qualifications in Digital Filmmaking and International Relations.
