Guangtai Zheng

Guangtai Zheng has over 14 years of engineering experience. Guangtai began their career in 2006 as a Postgraduate Research Student at Zhejiang University in China, where they conducted analysis and optimization of the ascoustic performance of the powertrain cylinder head and oil sump. Guangtai then moved to the Human Factors Research Unit at the ISVR, University of Southampton in 2008, where they served as a PhD Research Student. There, they developed sound knowledge of multi-body dynamics theory and analytical modelling skill, as well as multi-body modelling in Simulink environment. In 2012, they joined Jaguar Land Rover as a NVH CAE Engineer, where they were proficient in the use of Hyperworks, Nastran, LMS Virtual Lab/Test. Lab, and Optistruct, and developed vehicle engineering solutions. From 2017 to 2020, they worked as a Senior Noise and Vibration Engineer (EV) at Dyson. Currently, they are a Principal NVH Engineer at ClearMotion.

Guangtai Zheng received a Bachelor degree from Wuhan University in Mechanical Design and Engineering in 2006. Guangtai then went on to receive a Master degree from Zhejiang University in Power Machinery in 2008. Finally, they completed a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Human Response to Vibration at the University of Southampton in 2011.
