Tony Burnette

Tony Burnette is a seasoned professional with significant experience in process engineering within the paper industry. Since February 2012, Tony has served as a Senior Process Engineer at Clearwater Paper Corporation, focusing on corporate technical, quality, and product development. Prior to this role, Tony worked as a Process Engineer at Georgia-Pacific LLC from January 2007 to January 2012, and as a Process Control Engineer at Blue Ridge Paper Products from October 2000 to January 2007, where responsibilities included process optimization and control. Earlier in Tony's career, work as a Process Engineer at Champion International involved engineering on a bleached containerboard machine and contributing to a major machine rebuild project. Tony earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Pulp & Paper Engineering from North Carolina State University, where studies were completed from 1980 to 1984, following a diploma from Pisgah High School.
