Jon Benedict, MBA, CISSP, CISM, HCISPP has a wide range of experience in the fields of information security and cybersecurity. Currently working at Clearwater as a Medical Device Security Principal, they serve as an expert advisor to senior management in developing and maintaining an information security governance framework, ensuring best practice control objectives are achieved. Jon has also developed cybersecurity and data privacy processes for medical device manufacturers.

Prior to their current role, Jon worked as a Cyber Security Consultant at Healthcare Cyber Solutions, LLC. Jon has also held leadership positions at TRIMEDX, serving as the Sr. Director of Information Security and Enablement, and at The InterMed Group as the Director of Information Security.

With their extensive experience in the healthcare industry, Jon has developed a deep understanding of the industry's cybersecurity, regulatory, privacy, and compliance requirements. Jon started their career at Securicon, LLC as a Managing Consultant, where they led and managed large engineering teams conducting information security vulnerability assessments. Jon has also worked at The Paradies Shops as a Senior Program Manager, Innovative Network Solutions as a Managing Consultant-Program Director, and Utility Consultants, Inc as a Project Manager-Broadband Services.

Jon Benedict, MBA, CISSP, CISM, HCISPP, has a Bachelor of Arts degree in Industrial Psychology from SUNY New Paltz, which they obtained from 1989 to 1993. Jon is currently pursuing an Executive MBA in Business Administration and Management, General from the University of Georgia - Terry College of Business, with an expected completion date in 2023.
