Helen Diamond Steele

Helen Diamond Steele, PhD has a range of experience in higher education. Helen is currently the Director of Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion at Clemson University, where they build relationships, creates recruitment strategies, and advocates for underrepresented groups. Prior to this role, they served as the Director of Career and Global Engagement, leading a team that provided resources and opportunities for student development and engagement, as well as alumni and donor engagement. Earlier in their career, they were the Director of First-Year Experience at the University of West Georgia, where they improved the orientation program and implemented a summer transition program.
