Matt Eck has a diverse work experience spanning various industries. Matt began their career as an Aircraft Armament Systems Craftsman in the Ohio Air National Guard, where they demonstrated strong leadership skills and earned several accolades for their performance. Matt then transitioned to the role of Combat Correspondent/Public Affairs Officer, where they scripted, produced, and edited videos for the 180th Fighter Wing.

In 2006, Matt joined the Cleveland Cavaliers, initially serving as a QTV Senior Producer/Project Manager before being promoted to Senior Director of Video Production & Executive Producer. In this role, they oversaw a team of 15 producers and editors, managed numerous projects, and led a multi-million dollar video and control room upgrade.

Matt also had a freelance video career, working as a Replay Operator/Editor/Videographer/Director for various organizations, including Akron Zips football, Sports Time Ohio, and Drum Corps International.

In their most recent role with the Ohio National Guard, Matt served as the Public Affairs Officer for the PAO Wolstein Center. Matt engaged with the media, coordinated interviews for documentaries, and fostered relationships for broader outreach.

Matt Eck attended Kent State University from 2001 to 2006, where they earned a Bachelor of Applied Science (BASc) degree in Electronic Media Studies. In 2007, they enrolled at the Community College of the Air Force and completed an Associate's degree in Aircraft Armament Systems Technology, which they pursued until 2010. In 2012, Matt returned to the Community College of the Air Force and obtained an Associate's degree in Public Affairs the following year, finishing their studies in 2013.
