Nuno Simoes

Nuno is the Country Manager at Clever Leaves Portugal. He has led the Portuguese operations since January 2019, contributing to the construction of the physical infrastructure, the acquisition of the farm, and the development of industrial projects. Additionally, Nuno was responsible for the selection of the human talent and he monitored the certification and licensing processes of the Company in Portugal. Prior to Clever Leaves (then Northern Swan), Nuno led his own Consultancy Firm, specializing in agri-business strategic development. He was also the Marketing and Sales Director at Unilever, Director of Operations for Southern Europe, and R&D at Driscoll’s. He holds an MSc degree in Agronomy (Agricultural Economics) from the Instituto Superior de Agronomia in the Technical University of Lisbon.
