CSA is looking for a Vice President to lead and grow our Navy Business Unit. CSA’s customer base supports the critical Mission of the Defense Department, across multiple geographical locations. In this role you will apply your leadership and portfolio management expertise to develop business and lead awarded programs in a dynamic and challenging environment as we accomplish our mission, vision, and ultimately fulfill our purpose. This position reports to the Chief Operating Officer (COO).
For nearly 50 years, CSA has delivered integrated technology and operational support services to meet the defense and federal sector's most complex enterprise needs. Working from operations centers and shipyards to training sites and program offices, CSA deploys experienced teams, innovative tools and proven processes to advance federal missions.
How Your Role Will Make an Impact:
- Responsible for operational execution to deliver on customer requirements while achieving company related business and financial goals
- Accountable for developing strategic relationships with key customer personnel, including decision makers, influencers and end users that have a direct impact on program success
- Responsible for business development efforts that align with the new and organic growth targets within his/her customer base
- Expected to build high performing teams that apply their diverse skills and perspectives to achieve customer and company goals
- Provide oversight for the projects and program teams within the portfolio of business.

- Develop and adhere to established guidelines, processes, and procedures to deliver on customer and company objectives
- Responsible for resource allocation, including budget and personnel management, making strategic decisions that align with company goals and developing an operating environment that drives employee engagement
- Monitor performance metrics and program deliverables to ensure achievement of program tasks and schedules, performance, and contractual obligations
- Assists executives/c suit leaders in defining and executing organizational goals and strategic plans
What You Will Need to Join Our Award-Winning Team:
- Clearance: Must possess and maintain an Active DoD Secret Clearance
- Bachelor's Degree in business or related field
- 10+ years leading large, complex programs with large DoD program/contracts required
- 5+ years' experience managing teams of 250+ members.
- 5+ years' experience managing Operations at a value of $50+ Million annually required
- Directs and controls the activities of a broad functional area through several program managers within the company, CONUS and OCONUS work.
- Has overall control of planning, staffing, budgeting, managing expense priorities, and recommending and implementing changes to methods.
- Works on complex issues where analysis of situations or data requires an in-depth knowledge of the company.
- Participates in corporate development of methods, techniques and evaluation criteria for projects, programs, and people. Ensures budgets and schedules meet corporate requirements.
- Hands on leader who is willing to roll sleeves up and actively engage in program management, proposal development, and financial management
- Regularly interacts with executives and/or major customers.
- Interactions frequently involve special skills, such as negotiating with customers or management or attempting to influence senior level leaders regarding matters of significance to the organization
