Kenny Helsens

Kenny Helsens is a Data & ML Architect at Carbyon, where Kenny works with the research team to leverage Data & ML for direct air capture of CO2. Kenny is also a Strategic Advisor on Digital, AI & Climate Tech at VIB and the Founder of ThinkData, a service provider focusing on creating value and insights with data. Kenny is a Contributor at Climate Change AI, aiming to generate interest around Climate Change within ML communities. Previously, Kenny was an ML Lead at In The Pocket, a Research Data Scientist at Biocartis and Sony, and a Co-Founder at Solvice. Kenny's educational background includes a PhD in biological and computational sciences from Ghent University.
