Georgia Hutchinson has an extensive work experience spanning various roles and industries. Georgia started their career as a Marketing Assistant at Mostlymaps in 2003 and later worked as a Community Outreach Coordinator at United Purpose from 2002 to 2005. Georgia joined Haymarket Media Group in 2006 as a Journalist before transitioning to a freelance journalist role from 2007 to 2009. In 2009, Georgia joined Nuffield Health as a Group Communications professional until 2012. Georgia then worked as a Freelance Communications Strategist for a brief period in 2012 before joining NHS Property Services Ltd as the Head of Communications in London from 2013 to 2016. Georgia's next position was at Climate-KIC where they served as the Head of Media, Content, and Campaigns starting from 2016. Georgia also took on the role of Director of Communications and Marketing (Interim) at Climate-KIC from 2018 to 2020.

Georgia Hutchinson began their education in 1996 at Hereford Cathedral School, where they attended until 2003. During this period, they did not pursue a specific degree or field of study. In 2005, Georgia enrolled at Kingston University and completed their Bachelor of Arts degree in Journalism in 2008. Afterward, they attended the Institut de Français in Nice from 2008 to 2009, where they earned a Diplôme Français - Avancée II in the field of French Language.
