Founder Fellowship at Climatebase

Davies Odu has a diverse work experience in the technology industry. In 2016, they worked as a Software Engineer at IBM, where they built a product information search platform. Davies utilized technologies such as Node.js, jQuery, HTML5, CSS3, Bootstrap, and Datatables.

In 2017, Davies joined Microsoft as a Software Engineer, specializing in machine learning pipeline engineering. Davies also worked on backend development using technologies such as C#, ASP.NET, NodeJS, and Azure Cloud. Additionally, they gained experience in frontend development with TypeScript and various UI frameworks. Davies stayed with Microsoft until 2022.

During their time at Microsoft, Davies also joined /dev/color as an A* Member from 2018 to 2021.

Continuing their career path, Davies founded Climatebase in 2023, where they currently hold a Founder Fellowship.

Davies Odu holds a Master's Degree in Computer Engineering from Duke University. Prior to that, they completed their Bachelor's degree in Nanoelectronics at Saint Petersburg State Electrotechnical University "LETI". Davies also has a background in Russian Language and Literature from Tver State Technical University. Additionally, Davies obtained a High School/Secondary Certificate from Mount Saint Gabriels Secondary School in Nigeria. In terms of additional certifications, they have completed a course in Artificial Intelligence & Machine Learning Engineering from Springboard in May 2020.
