Rebecca Powell

Rebecca (Bec) manages the infrastructure program in the Cities Team. She provides a range of project management, research, policy analysis and advice to internal and external stakeholders, supporting decarbonisation across the infrastructure sector.

Bec also works closely with the Transport and Buildings teams where she supports a range of programs and pilot initiatives with the agenda to deliver net zero infrastructure.

Prior to joining ClimateWorks, Bec worked as a consultant on strategic transport planning projects. She contributed to many sustainable transport projects, from designing new cycle paths to mapping the transition to zero-emission buses. She is enthusiastic about improving the way we live, works and plays in their urban spaces, and how this can contribute to the net zero goal.

Bec holds a Bachelor of Environmental Engineering, from the University of New South Wales (UNSW).
