Your Mission
In this pivotal role, you'll be the driving force behind our editorial function, with a mission to inspire, guide, engage, and convert our audience. As Climatiq scales, this position offers significant opportunities for professional growth, allowing you to expand your impact and influence in line with the company’s evolution. Reporting to the CEO, you will apply your expertise to effectively define, communicate, and elevate Climatiq’s core themes around corporate sustainability and carbon intelligence.
We are looking for ambitious and self-driven individuals who bring fresh ideas and can work autonomously in a collaborative environment. The ideal candidate has a proven track record of running high-converting B2B editorial campaigns, specifically for technical software products within the enterprise SaaS domain.
Your Responsibilities
Develop and implement a multi-channel content strategy, including foundational messaging and guidelines, in collaboration with the Marketing, Science and Data, Sales, Customer Success, and Product Teams, focusing on elevating Climatiq's brand awareness and driving top-of-the-funnel growth.
Craft a diverse range of content, including blog posts, customer stories, reports, sales presentations, graphics and video content, and email campaigns, while ensuring alignment with our marketing funnel.
Edit and review content (including job postings like this one) to ensure brand voice consistency across the business.
Lead the execution of SEO strategies to enhance online presence, including landing pages and website copy.
Manage our editorial calendar aligning it with company objectives, product launches, key announcements, and events.
Lead the distribution strategy for content across social media and Climatiq-owned channels to build audiences.
Utilize analytics tools like Google Analytics, HubSpot, and LinkedIn for performance tracking and optimization.
Conduct ongoing market analysis to identify content gaps and opportunities, ensuring continuous improvement and alignment with industry trends and audience needs.
Required Qualifications:
Genuine interest in the climate-tech sector, sustainability, and data-driven solutions to fight the climate crisis.
At least 5 years of experience in a similar role within a product-focused B2B SaaS environment.
A portfolio of high-converting content including blog posts, case studies, whitepapers, landing pages, email campaigns, videos etc.
Demonstrated success in running high-converting editorial campaigns in a B2B environment.
Strategic mindset, and expertise in leveraging digital platforms for growth and engagement.
Solid understanding of online media channels, particularly LinkedIn, organic search (SEO), email marketing, and proficiency in analytics tools.
Exceptional written and oral communication skills in English, capable of storytelling and simplifying complex topics for diverse audiences.
Independent, self-motivated, and comfortable working in a fast-paced startup environment.
Bonus qualifications:
Experience in the sustainability or climate tech sector
Experience in product-led growth strategies
Experience with other media formats such as infographics, video, and audio
Experience with Canva, Figma, Adobe Creative Cloud, or other creative/design applications

Location: Berlin or Remote within +/- 2 hours of CET timezone
Starting date: as soon as possible
