Ben Toms

Ben Toms is a highly skilled professional in the field of atmospheric science and artificial intelligence. Currently serving as Vice President of AI at Climavision since April 2024, Ben previously founded Intersphere, where a fully AI-based forecasting system for weather and climate was developed before the company was acquired by Climavision. Ben's earlier experience includes being a PhD student and Department of Energy Computational Science Graduate Fellow at Colorado State University from August 2016 to October 2020, where advanced computational techniques were utilized to enhance understanding of weather and climate predictability. Educational qualifications include a Doctor of Philosophy in Atmospheric Science from Colorado State University and dual Bachelor of Science degrees in Meteorology and Civil Engineering with a minor in Mathematics from the University of Oklahoma.
