Naira Khachatryan, MD, DrPH, MPH, currently serves as the Director of Safety Surveillance and Medical Monitoring at ClinChoice since June 2022. Previously, Naira held the position of Assistant Research Professor in the Department of Ophthalmology at the University of Colorado Denver from 2020 to 2021. Between 2018 and 2020, Naira was the Principal Investigator for the Nation-wide Rapid Assessment of Avoidable Blindness (RAAB) in Armenia at the American University of Armenia. Additional experience includes roles as a Postdoctoral Researcher at the University of Pennsylvania, a Postdoctoral Scholar-Employee at UCSD, and a Consultant at the College of Optometrists. Naira's early career at the American University of Armenia spanned from 1999 to 2007, initially as a Program Manager before becoming Principal Investigator at the Meghrigian Eye Institute. Naira's educational background includes a Doctor of Public Health from the London School of Hygiene and Tropical Medicine, a Postdoctoral Fellowship from Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health, a Doctor of Medicine from Yerevan State Medical University, and a Master of Public Health from the American University of Armenia.
