About The Position 

Clinical Architecture is seeking a Research and Development Engineer to join our team in the Indianapolis, IN area. The R&D Engineer is responsible for developing new technologies, products, or processes through research, experimentation, and innovation. 

This role is required to be on-site at our Carmel, IN Headquarters. Clinical Architecture offers ample flexibility to accommodate healthy work-life balance.

 Responsibilities  

  • Manage a wide range of technical challenges, explore new ideas, and push the boundaries of what is possible. 
  • Manage a higher degree of uncertainty and risk, as the outcomes are not always predictable and subject to change in-flight. 
  • Work across the full technology stack, including database design, database queries, server-side services & APIs, client-side UIs, design, etc. 
  • Proficiency in multiple languages and technologies. 

Qualifications and Experience  

  • BA / BS Degree or equivalent experience. 
  • At least one year of experience in software design, coding, and quality principles, with proficiency in C#. 
  • Strong problem solving and critical thinking. 
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills. 
  • Ability to work both independently, with minimal supervision, and in a team environment.  
  • Quick learner with the ability to manage workload in a cooperative and demanding environment.
