Michael Madgett

Director Of Research & Development at Clinical Trial Media

Michael Madgett has a diverse and extensive work experience spanning various industries. Michael is currently serving as the Director of Engineering at Clinical Trial Media since February 2021. Previously, Michael worked at Circular3D Inc. from 2010 to 2012, where they held the roles of Director and Founder/CEO. While there, they raised seed investment and oversaw the development of educational iOS apps and music albums for children. Additionally, they operated an in-house music studio for producing children's music.

From 2017 to 2021, Michael worked at BLOCK, where they held the position of Open Source Blockchain Dev Lead. Michael made significant contributions to the research and development of blockchain interoperability and routing protocols, recovering $8M in stolen crypto with behavioral tracking algorithms and consensus patches. Michael also led the development of Block DX, a decentralized exchange platform, and XLite, a multi-wallet electron app.

In 2017, Michael co-founded Keep Fortified Inc. and served as the Co-Founder/CTO until 2018. Michael was responsible for the technical aspects of the company's operations. Prior to that, they worked at MAG7 Collective from 2013 to 2016, where they held the role of Software Development Lead, managing the technical development team and overseeing clients' digital product development.

From 2013 to 2016, Michael was also a Partner/CTO at WeDo, Inc., a private social network. In this role, they designed the platform's architecture, developed the backend, and contributed to the development of web and mobile applications. Michael was responsible for product and platform development, infrastructure, scalability, and technical analysis.

Before that, Michael served as Partner/Chief Technology Officer at TheDesignMob from 2012 to 2013, driving the company's capabilities in cloud computing and mobile software development.

In 2007, Michael co-founded Inout Software, LLC, where they served as the Chief Software Architect until 2010. The company provided research and development services in software systems, including training simulation software for the US Navy and Lockheed Martin.

Prior to that, they worked as a Software Engineer at CSC from 2006 to 2007, developing training simulation software for the US Army. Michael also worked as a Software Developer at Finn Digital LLC from 2005 to 2006, building web applications for notable clients.
