Patrick Cassiers

Patrick Cassiers has over 10 years of work experience in various roles within the healthcare industry. Patrick started their career as an Intern at UZ Gent, where they conducted validations for laboratory equipment. Patrick then worked as a Lab Technician at AZ Alma before transitioning to a position at The Binding Site as an Application Engineer. In this role, they were responsible for the delivery, installation, and training of new products, as well as providing after-sales support and maintaining customer relations. Later, they joined Clinisys as an International Project Manager for Anapath Solutions, where they coordinated the implementation of laboratory information systems in customer labs. Patrick also took on the role of a Team Leader Customer Services, where they managed projects and led a team of project managers and engineers. Currently, they are working at Clinisys as a Product Manager Anatomic Pathology Europe, overseeing projects and account management for customers in BeLuxCH. Throughout their career, Patrick has demonstrated strong project management, customer service, and technical skills in the healthcare industry.

Patrick Cassiers has a diverse education history with a focus on language courses and project management. In 2006, they obtained a Bachelor's degree in Biomedical Sciences from HOGENT. Prior to that, they completed their secondary education at College-O.L.V.-Ten-Doorn, where they earned a Middelbaar diploma in Techniek-Wetenschappen in 2000.

In terms of language courses, Patrick completed a course in French at ELOHIM in 2013 and then went on to pursue courses in Italian at Het Perspectief PCVO. Patrick completed an A1 level course in Italian from 2019 to 2020 and an A2 level course in the same language from 2020 to 2021. Patrick also took a language course in German at ELOHIM in 2019-2020.

Furthermore, Patrick has a certification in PRINCE2 Foundation, a project management methodology, obtained from Wolters kluwer in 2018.

Recently, in 2022, Patrick obtained a certificate in "The People Manager" from Vlerick Business School. Patrick also obtained an Italian A2 certification from Het Perspectief PCVO in the same year.

Additionally, Patrick holds a previous certification as a Medical Lab Technician, obtained from Hogeschool Gent (HoGent) in 2011.
