Hannah Weger

Hannah Weger has a diverse work experience. In 2011, they began as a Studentische Hilfskraft at Hochschule Bonn-Rhein-Sieg. In 2014, they were an Internship and Bachelor Thesis at Bundesanstalt für Gewässerkunde, where they developed methods for the identification and quatification of microplastic-associated pathogenic bacteria. In 2018, they were a Research Internship at Institute of Biology II (Zoology), RWTH Aachen, where they worked in the field of Molecular Parasitology. In 2019, they were a Research Internship and Masterthesis at Institute for Medical Microbiology, where they examined the 'Impact of bile acid conversion by Extibacter muris on the gut epithelial and liver tissue'. In 2020, they were a Sars-CoV-2 Test Assistant (Patients and Lab) at MVZ Labor Dr. Quade & Kollegen, and a Sars-Covid19 Tester / Rettungshelfer im kommunalen Abstrichzentrum at Malteser Hilfsdienst Aachen e.V. Currently, they are a Project Manager at Clinomic.

Hannah Weger attended Hochschule Bonn-Rhein-Sieg from 2010 to 2015, earning a Bachelor of Science in Applied Biology. Hannah then went on to attend RWTH Aachen University from 2015 to 2020, where they earned a Master of Science in Biologie.
