Scott Kramer

Scott Kramer has extensive experience in information security and governance roles. Scott is currently working as the Director of Information Security at Clio, a cloud-based legal technology company. Prior to this, they served as the Director of Governance and Compliance at BCAA, where they successfully implemented a security strategy to protect data and assets, obtained multiple compliance certifications, and led the business continuity program. Before BCAA, Scott worked as the Network and Security Manager at Avigilon, where they migrated the organization's security posture and implemented endpoint protection solutions. Scott also worked at Pason as the Digital Communications and Security Manager and the Manager of Data Delivery and Communications. Scott started their career at Halliburton, where they held various roles, including North America Voice and Data Manager, Level 3 Network Operations Manager, Principal Technical Professional, and Sr Network Analyst. During their time at Halliburton, they managed budgets, implemented global operational support, and designed communication solutions. Scott's work experience dates back to their time at Schlumberger, where they worked as an Information Technology Analyst and gained experience in network administration and project management.

Scott Kramer completed a Certificate in Advanced Leadership from UBC Sauder School of Business in 2019. Scott also obtained a Cisco Certification in CCNP (Networking), although the specific years of completion are unknown. Additionally, Scott holds certifications as a Level 4 Coach from USA Hockey, which they obtained in September 2010, and as a Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) from (ISC)², obtained in July 2019.
