Tamasin Reno

Tamasin Reno has extensive work experience in the field of design, with a focus on user experience (UX) and user interface (UI). Tamasin started their career at Cicada Design in 2003 as an Intermediate UI/3D Designer. Tamasin then worked at the University of Guelph-Humber and the Toronto Transit Commission as a University Professor and 3D Designer, respectively. In 2006, Tamasin joined The Weather Network as a Motion Graphics/3D Designer, where they contributed to the station's new look and feel. Tamasin also trained the design team in 3D production techniques. Tamasin later served as a Professor at Humber College for a brief period in 2006. In 2007, they joined Vizible Corporation as a Senior Art Director, leading an in-house design team and designing new product features. Tamasin then worked at Vision Critical as a Senior UI Designer and later a UX Designer. Tamasin was responsible for spearheading the visual side of the company's HTML5 redesign and developing UI style and accessibility guides. In 2015, Tamasin joined Hootsuite as a Senior UX Designer. During their time there, they led Growth UX and focused on new-user activation and retention. Tamasin also redesigned the product style guide and designed an Admin Interface for 3rd Party Apps installation and management. Currently, Tamasin works at Clio - Cloud-Based Legal Technology as a Staff Product Designer, where they lead the design for a new product offering for US Legal Aid Organizations in Clio's emerging products portfolio.

Tamasin Reno has a diverse education history that includes both formal degrees and additional certifications. Tamasin obtained a Bachelor of Arts degree in Architecture (R.I.B.A Part 1) from Oxford Brookes University. Following that, Tamasin pursued a Master of Arts degree in Architecture (Computer Imaging) from the University of Westminster. Additionally, Tamasin studied UX/UI Design for the Web at The University of British Columbia.

In terms of certifications, Tamasin obtained a certification in Human-Centered Service Design from IDEO U in February 2021. Prior to that, Tamasin completed a certification course named "Biohacking Your Brain's Health" at Emory University in December 2019. Tamasin also has a certification in "Introduction to Psychology as a Science – Methodological and Biological Foundations" from Coursera, which was obtained in January 2018.

Furthermore, Tamasin holds certifications in Copywriting and Writing for Multimedia & the Web from The University of British Columbia, obtained in September 2016 and June 2016 respectively. Lastly, Tamasin is a Hootsuite Certified Professional, having obtained the certification from Hootsuite Media Inc. in April 2015.
