The Role:

We are looking for a Product Manager to be part of this amazing and fast – growing fintech.  Core team is in charge of making sure that the payment platform works for all our Merchants on every sale, maximizing the platform availability, performance and payments acceptance, ensuring the right Data downstream to enable cross teams to perform their operations, and thus, creating the experience that our customers are looking for.

As Product Manager in the Core team, your role will be key to manage Acquirers and Payment Processors integration and proper operation to meet the highest standards of the Mexican banking system and provide the best payment experience for small-mid business owners.

Your role will also be responsible for identifying and prioritizing opportunities to increase Clip payments acceptance, and product offer by bringing innovative products to the always growing payments market.You should thrive in a culture of decisions based on analytics, be able to step-back and communicate both the strategic and immediate implications on priorities. This candidate must have strong written and verbal communications skills in both English and Spanish and be willing to continue learning about the company and payments environment.

What will I do?

  1. Communicate the product vision and strategy for your team and then make it happen.

  2. Works with leadership to refine your team’s vision and set a 12-month product roadmap.

  3. Knows how to turn vision into goals, goals into a roadmap, and a roadmap into daily and weekly tasks for your team.

  4. Excels at keeping a cross-functional team of engineers, data analysts, business and product managers working effectively and efficiently.

  5. Data-driven. You use data to uncover opportunities and understand what levers to pull to drive business results.

  6. Knows how to measure the results of your work, test it with real users, and understand its downstream effects.

  7. Works with internal and external stakeholders to understand product impacts and associated deliverables.

  8. Attention to detail to lead cross teams during Go To Market strategy looking for high quality in the final product.

  9. Uses technical context to make better, faster decisions and to minimize technical debt.

  10. Coordinate and lead legal conversations to ensure Clip comply with Mexican and banking regulations.

Ideal Candidate:

  1. Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Engineering or similar

  2. 5+ years Product Management experience.

  3. 3 to 5 years of experience on payments channels or financial products, desirable to have experience on Acquirers/Payment Service Providers Integration/Operation

  4. Knowledge on payment platforms, banking compliance and conciliation post clearing process
