Alexander Shiao

Alexander Shiao is a Software Engineer at Clipboard Health since December 2022, with a strong foundation in full-stack development and back-end services demonstrated through personal projects and previous roles. Notable achievements include creating a fantasy board game visualizer with interactive features and an automated battle system utilizing pathfinding algorithms, as well as developing a highly efficient back-end service for an eCommerce platform that significantly improved database performance. Prior experience includes research on Alzheimer’s biomarkers as an Undergraduate Research Assistant at The Yang Lab and an internship at Thermo Fisher Scientific where Alexander focused on enhancing oligonucleotide synthesis technology. Alexander holds a Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering and Economics from UC San Diego and completed a software engineering program at Hack Reactor.
