Marty Stimson

Marty Stimson is an accomplished engineering professional with extensive experience in management and consultancy. Since October 2019, Marty has been self-employed as a consultant. Prior to this, from October 2015, Marty has served as Engineering Manager and Director of Engineering, Quality, and Environmental Compliance at Clipper Windpower. Between August 2013 and October 2015, Marty worked as Manager of Vehicle Engineering for Trapeze Group. Marty’s earlier career includes roles as Manager of Engineering at Clipper Windpower from November 2006 to August 2012 and Manager of Development Engineering at Terex Corporation from July 1993 to October 1999. Marty holds a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from Iowa State University and an Associate of Science in Mechanical Engineering/Mechanical Technology/Technician from Kirkwood Community College.
