Bernd Bandemer

Bernd Bandemer has held a variety of roles in the data science field. Bernd began their career in 2005 as an Assistant Research Engineer at Nokia, followed by a Research Internship at the DLR in the same year. In 2006, they became a PhD student at Stanford University, and in 2007 they held a Research Internship at Intel Corporation. From 2012 to 2013, they were a Postdoctoral Researcher at the University of California at San Diego. Bernd then moved to Bosch where they worked as a Research Engineer from 2013 to 2014. In 2014, they joined Rasa Networks as a Principal Data Scientist, and in 2016 they moved to Aruba, a Hewlett Packard Enterprise company, where they held the roles of Senior Manager (Data Science), Director, Data Science, and Senior Director, Data Science. Most recently, they started at Clockwork Systems, Inc. in 2021 as the Head of Data Science.

Bernd Bandemer received their Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Electrical Engineering from Stanford University between 2006 and 2012. Prior to that, they received their Dipl.-Ing. in Electrical and Computer Engineering from Technische Universität Ilmenau between 2000 and 2006. Bernd also participated in the Fulbright program at Purdue University between 2003 and 2004, where they were an exchange student studying Electrical Engineering.
