Fergus Malmose O'Connor

Fergus Malmose O'Connor, MMath, currently serves as a Model Validation Analyst at Close Brothers, having progressed from a Risk and Compliance Graduate position within the company. The role has evolved to encompass areas such as Central Credit Risk, Model Risk Management, and Model Development since joining in September 2022. Fergus also recently completed a stint with Winterflood Securities as part of the Risk and Compliance Graduate Scheme. Prior experience includes roles as a Sales Assistant at Marks and Spencer and a Sales Advisor at Decathlon UK. Fergus holds a Master's degree in Mathematics from Loughborough University and A-Levels in Further Mathematics, Mathematics, and Physics from Moulsham High School.
