Eric Geissinger

Project Manager, Documentation, Proposal Development, Project Support at Clostra

Eric Geissinger's work experience begins in 1993 as a Writer/Analyst at Robertson, Stephens & Co., where they wrote presentation copy for deals and worked closely with financial analysts during the IPO boom. From 1996 to 2000, they worked as a Senior Technical Writer at New Era of Networks, responsible for software documentation spanning the application integration product line. In 2001, they joined OpenTV as a Communications/CMS Lead/Principal Technical Writer, a role they held until 2017. At OpenTV, they worked on various communication and technical writing projects. In 2017, they worked at Google as a Technical Editor, focused on editing, conforming, and improving Google Cloud solutions for publication. Eric joined Clostra, Inc. in July 2017 as a Project Manager, working on documentation, proposal development, and project support.

Eric Geissinger earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Mathematics from Reed College, where they studied from 1988 to 1991. Eric then pursued a Master's Degree in English Language and Literature at San Francisco State University from 1993 to 1995. Later on, they engaged in coursework towards a Ph.D. in English Language and Literature at the University of California, Davis from 1996 to 1999, although they did not complete the full degree.
