Technical Support Manager at CloudCheckr

Chad Daignault has a diverse work experience spanning multiple industries. Chad started their career at Mohawk Valley Community College as a Resident Assistant, where they were responsible for the well-being of over 30 residents and organized various programs. Chad also worked as a Student Web Developer, contributing to the development of the college website. Additionally, Chad served as a Conference Host during their time at the college.

Afterwards, Chad joined Bryant & Stratton College as an Assistant Resident Director, where they supervised resident staff and enforced campus policies.

Chad then transitioned to Sutherland Global Services, initially working as a Help Desk Consultant, resolving customer issues through phone calls, web tickets, and online chat. Chad then served as a Trainer/Quality Specialist, before becoming a Team Manager, overseeing a team of 40+ consultants providing customer care and technical support. In their role as a CloudSource GTI Specialist, Chad worked with employees and leadership to configure, test, and support various technologies for work-at-home clients.

Currently, Chad is employed at CloudCheckr, a part of Spot by NetApp. Chad started as a Support Engineer, providing support to CloudCheckr end users and collaborating with sales and engineering departments. Chad later became a Software Quality Analyst, where they utilized various cloud platforms to configure test environments, reported defects, and participated in sprint planning and retrospectives. Chad is currently serving as the Technical Support Manager at CloudCheckr.

Throughout their career, Chad has gained extensive experience in technical support, quality analysis, team management, and customer service.

Chad Daignault's education history is as follows:

Chad obtained a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Cybersecurity from SUNY Canton from 2022 to 2026. Prior to that, in 2006 to 2007, they earned a Bachelor of Technology (B.Tech.) degree in Web Development & Management from the State University of New York College of Agriculture and Technology at Cobleskill. Before pursuing their bachelor's degree, Chad attended Mohawk Valley Community College from 2003 to 2006, where they obtained an Associate of Arts and Sciences (AAS) degree in Business Administration and Management, General. Chad'shigh school education was completed at East Syracuse Minoa Central High School, where they received a High School Diploma in Information Technology from 1999 to 2003.

Chad also holds several additional certifications. In July 2022, they earned the "Beginner's Guide to Agile in Jira Badge" and "Setting up ITSM Projects in Jira Service Management" from Atlassian. In March 2019, they obtained the "Azure Fundamentals" certification from Microsoft. In May 2022, Chad acquired the "Amazon Web Services Cloud Practitioner" certification from Amazon Web Services. Most recently, in February 2023, they obtained the "FOCP: FinOps Certified Practitioner" certification from The Linux Foundation.
