Jim Vesser

Jim Vesser has had a long and varied career in the telecommunications industry. Jim began their career in 1995 as a Network Service Manager, Network Engineer, and Network Operations Specialist for Sprint. In 2001, they were promoted to Manager for Sprint. In 2006, they became the Sr Manager - Access Service Assurance for Sprint Nextel. In 2007, they were hired as a Senior Manager for Alcatel-Lucent Managed Solutions, LLC, where they managed multi-year and multi-million dollar Sprint Wireline contracts. From 2010 to 2017, they were the Project Manager for Nokia / Alcatel-Lucent, where they were responsible for onboarding new customers into ITIL compliant Global Network Operations Centers. From 2017 to 2020, they were the Sr NOC Manager for Georgia Public Web, Inc., leading their Network Operations Center. In 2022, they became a Self Employed Management Consultant for Cartesian, and in 2023, they were hired as the NOC Director for CloudWyze, Inc.

Jim Vesser obtained a Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering from Georgia Institute of Technology between 1988 and 1993. Jim then obtained a Masters degree in Telecommunications Management from Keller Graduate School of Management between 1998 and 2003. Jim also obtained several certifications, including Juniper Networks Certified Associate - Junos (JNCIA-Junos) from Juniper Networks in March 2020, ITIL Foundation Level from AXELOS Global Best Practice in February 2018, Marketing Strategy Fundamentals from SMstudy - Global Accreditation Body for Sales and Marketing Certifications in March 2017, Six Sigma Yellow Belt from 6sigmaStudy in March 2017, Scrum Fundamentals Certified from SCRUMstudy - Accreditation Body for Scrum and Agile in January 2015, AWS Certified Cloud Practitioner from Amazon Web Services (AWS) in October 2022, and Project Management Professional (PMP) from Project Management Institute in June 2014.
