John Benfield

John Benfield has a diverse work experience spanning over 20 years. John started their career as a Product Deployment Manager at Deutsche Bank in 1999 and then moved on to various roles in infrastructure project management at ABN AMRO, Royal Bank of Scotland, and Merrill Lynch. In 2008, they joined BGL Group as an Interim Infrastructure Deployment Project Manager, where they worked on migrating legacy systems to open systems solutions. John then returned to Deutsche Bank in 2008 and worked as a Migration Program Manager, successfully completing five data center migration programs and carrying out application transformation work. From 2019 to 2021, they worked at Virtual Clarity as an Associate Consultant, overseeing the migrations of applications for multiple lines of business. John rejoined Deutsche Bank in 2021 as a Project Manager, leading a significant upgrade project for the bank's primary infrastructure. In 2023, they joined CLS Group as a Project Manager, further expanding their project management experience.

John Benfield attended Culford from 1975 to 1983. John then pursued higher education at the University of South Wales from 1983 to 1986, majoring in Computer Science. John also obtained the Scrum Master Certified (SMC) certification from the Scrum Alliance in April 2021.
