Financial Analyst at Clúid Housing Role Overview:
Position: Financial Analyst
Reporting to: Finance Planning Manager
Location: 159-161 Upper Sheriff Street, Dublin 1 (Hybrid)
Contract: Permanent
Salary: €45,830 - €55,000 (depending on experience)
As a Financial Planning Analyst, you will be assisting in developing and growing out the Financial Modelling capabilities within Clúid Housing, playing a central role in meeting the business and information needs of a growing organisation. The models developed within the role are envisaged to assist the organisation in understanding, managing, and monitoring the performance impact of business decisions and financial strategy initiatives undertaken as the organisation grows. You will support the Financial Planning Manager and Treasury Manager in addition to the wider finance team.
Key Responsibilities:
Financial Modelling
Maintenance and upkeep of existing Business Planning tools and Financial Models to support the needs of the organisation and the end users of the models
Processing of changes to Financial Models to achieve Financial Model objectives as set out by the Financial Planning Manager
Development of Financial Modelling solutions for internal business cases, including value for money reviews, viability reviews, and organisational performance initiatives, ensuring the models are flexible, dynamic, intuitive, and clear for end users and management
Following of best practices for Financial Model integrity, assurance, and periodic quality review
Communicating to users of Financial Models providing clear and concise assistance to users in understanding the model operation and outputs
Project Assessments
Assist in the assessment of the Financial suitability of new proposals, collaborating with the team in capital investment appraisals and presenting appraisal results to the Financial Planning Manager
Interaction with Commercial Development department in respect of new scheme assessment to ensure scheme data inputs are correct and appropriate
Assessment and reporting of social economic value in projects, assisting the organisation in Environmental, Social, Governance, and Greening Strategy objectives

Extensive Financial Modelling and Advanced Excel (Macros, VBA, Power BI, Arrays, Pivots, Lookups, Model Design)
Strong financial modelling experience
Strong attention to detail
Problem solving skills
To plan and organise at organisation and personal level

Excellent communication skills

Proven record in working on Excel modelling
