Amber Palekar

Amber Palekar has over 18 years of work experience in the technology industry. Amber began their career in 2001 as an Intern at Codito Technologies Pvt Ltd. Amber then went on to become an Associate Software Engineer at VERITAS Software India Pvt Ltd in 2002 and a Senior Software Engineer at Kernel Solutions Pvt Ltd in 2003. In 2005, Palekar took on a role as a Research Intern at Parallel Data Labs, Carnegie Mellon University. In 2006, they became a File System Engineer at NetApp. In 2015, Palekar joined PernixData (acquired by Nutanix) as a Staff Software Engineer and in 2016, they became a Monster of Typical Stuff at Nutanix. Most recently, Palekar has been a Founding Engineer & Director of Engineering - Data Path at Clumio since 2017.

Amber Palekar completed a Master of Science in Information Networking from Carnegie Mellon University and a Bachelor of Engineering in Computer Engineering from Pune Institute of Computer Technology.
