Adelaide Nolan

Adelaide Nolan is a Research Scientist at CNA Corporation since July 2021 and previously served as a Research Analyst. Prior experience includes a position as a Graduate Research Assistant at the University of Maryland College Park from July 2017 to July 2021, where research focused on first-principles computational studies of lithium-ion battery materials, including the thermodynamic stability of high-voltage cathodes and collaborations with Georgia Tech on Co particle nucleation. Earlier, Adelaide was a Research Assistant at Oak Ridge National Laboratory, contributing to neutron detector data processing, and a Software Intern at NASA Goddard Space Flight Center, developing software for the GEDI climate satellite testing. Adelaide holds a PhD in Materials Science from the University of Maryland and a BS in Materials Science and Engineering from Cornell University.
