Gustavo Vaz

Gustavo Vaz has a diverse work experience spanning various industries and roles. Gustavo is currently working as the Head of Supplier Management at CNC24, a position they started in March 2023. Prior to this, they worked at Wayfair from January 2018 to March 2023, initially as an Account Manager and later as a Senior Partner Operations Manager.

Before their time at Wayfair, Gustavo worked at FALCONI Consultores de Resultado, the largest management consultancy in Latin America. During their tenure from June 2016 to December 2017, they served as a Senior Management Consultant, leading a team of consultants and coordinating projects in multiple industries, including oil and gas, healthcare, FMCG (brewery), cement, and chemicals. Gustavo'snotable accomplishments include identifying potential cost reductions for a major oil company, achieving EBITDA increase in a hospital chain, improving line efficiency in a brewery, and implementing managerial methods and practices in a cement company.

Gustavo started their career as an Intern at Banco do Brasil in May 2008 and later interned at ArcelorMittal Brasil from March 2009 to December 2009.

Gustavo Vaz obtained a Bachelor of Engineering (BE) degree in Mechanical Engineering from the Universidade Federal de Minas Gerais, completing their studies from 2004 to 2010. Later, they pursued a part-time Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree in General Management from FGV - Fundação Getulio Vargas, which they completed between 2015 and 2016. In 2017, Gustavo Vaz attended ESMT Berlin, where they earned a full-time Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree in General Management. It is also worth mentioning that Gustavo Vaz has a certification as a Certified ScrumMaster® (CSM) from the Scrum Alliance, obtained at an unspecified time.
