Job description

CUSTOMER SERVICES Greet and assist customers with orders Answer customer inquiries about menu items, pricing and specials Handle complaints and resolve customer issues in a friendly manner"

ORDER PROCESSING Take orders at the counter or over the phone Input orders into the point -of-sale (POS) system accurately Handle takeout and delivery orders

CASH HANDLING Process payments via cash, credit, or debit cards Provide accurate change and issue receipts Reconcile cash drawer at the beginning and end of shifts"

INVENTORY AND SUPPLIES Restock items such as napkins, cups, condiments and other supplies Monitor stock levels of food and beverages and report shortages to management

FOOD AND BEVERAGE PREPARATION Assist in making simple beverages like coffee , tea and smothies Prepare bakes goods or ready to eat food items, following cafe protocols.

CLEANLINESS AND MAINTENANCE Keep the counter area clean and organized Wipe down tables, counters and organized Dispose of trash and ensure proper sanitation practices are followed"

RECORD KEEPING Maintain logs or records of daily transactions Report any discrepancies or issues to management"

ADDITIONAL DUTIES Assist in setting up promotional displays or cafe events Help with opening or closing duties, such as setting up the counter, cleaning and ensuring all equipment is shut off properly.
