Mike Hazell

Mike Hazell is the Interim Chief Finance Officer at Co-op. Prior to this, they were the CEO/CFO of Debenhams from February 2010 to September 2021. Mike was installed as CEO to examine and deliver exit options for investors and creditors following the dramatic impact repeated Covid lockdowns were having on group cash flows. Before that, they were the Assistant Treasurer of British Sky Broadcasting plc from February 2005 to February 2010. Prior to that, they worked in various finance management roles at Fonterra from August 2003 to November 2004. Before that, they worked in various finance roles at Pfizer from December 1995 to March 2003.

Mike Hazell reports to Shirine Khoury-Haq, Interim CEO. They work with Gavin Holt - Head of Probate, Dominic Kendal-Ward - Group Secretary & General Counsel, and Jo Whitfield - Chief Executive, Food.
