Prateek Arora

Prateek Arora is a Doctor of Philosophy candidate at New York University, with a diverse background in research and engineering. Currently serving as a Research Assistant at New York University and a Visiting Student Researcher at the University of California, Berkeley, Prateek also holds a Research Fellowship with the Coalition for Disaster Resilient Infrastructure. Previously, Prateek worked as a Staff Engineer at Rivera Consulting Group, Inc., and as a Graduate Teaching Assistant at Stanford University. Early career experiences include internships at Thornton Tomasetti, CSIR-Structural Engineering Research Centre, and Mormugao Port Trust, where Prateek gained practical skills in structural engineering, research methodologies, and on-site project management. Prateek holds a Master of Science in Structural Engineering from Stanford University and a Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering from Birla Institute of Technology and Science, Pilani.
