Shawn Brown

Shawn Brown is an accomplished culinary professional with extensive experience as an Executive Chef, currently serving at Commonwealth Brewery Ltd. and Coastal Hospitality Associates since May 2025 and July 2022, respectively. Brown also held the position of Executive Chef at Broad Bay Country Club from October 2019 to July 2022 and at Elizabeth Manor Golf and Country Club from January 2017 to September 2019, where responsibilities included managing kitchen staff, overseeing recruitment, training, and scheduling, as well as leading shifts and preparing food items to specification. Previous roles include Executive Sous Chef at The Founders Inn and Spa, Sous Chef at Dish Swedish Restaurant, and Lead Line Cook at Dave & Buster's Inc., along with a tenure as Executive Sous Chef at The Historic Cavalier Hotel & Beach Club. Brown holds an Associate's degree from Tidewater Tech-Trades and graduated from Green Run High School.
