Daniel Olea Martín

Daniel Olea Martín is the Co-Founder and CTO at Cobee. Prior to Cobee, they were the Chief Technology Officer (CTO) at Finn Ventures from August 2017 to September 2018. In their role at Finn Ventures, they oversaw the technology of the company to ensure that engineers had the best development culture to be able to deliver value to customers.

Martín and their team created an online loan marketplace using NodeJS, Angular 6 and MongoDB. Their infrastructure is based on cutting-edge technologies, like AWS Fargate and Gitlab CI/CD. It is prepared to scale seamlessly and be deployed at the literal push of a button. The aspect that makes him prouder is the software quality achieved. This quality is the result of their set of followed practices, like hexagonal architecture, software testing strategies based on ROIT (return on invested time) and component-based front-ends among others.

Following their vision on IT management, Martín focuses on communicating their technical vision clearly and ensuring that everyone is aligned and understands the goals. Afterwards, they take an active role in delivering certain features, so they are able to see first-hand the evolution of their tech assets.

Daniel Olea Martín has an engineer's degree in software engineering from the Universidad Politécnica de Madrid, a Master of Science in New Mobile Devices and Business Innovation from Universidad Europea, and a Bachillerato in Science Path from Santa María del Pilar. Daniel also has a certification from Coursera in Machine Learning and a certification from the University of Cambridge in Certificate of Proficiency in English (C2).
