Sisira V S

Sisira V S is currently a Doctoral Candidate at Cochin University of Science and Technology, with previous experience as a Research Intern at the Center for Neuroscience, where research focused on neuroprotective natural fiber enriched synbiotics. Prior to that, Sisira was a Dissertation Student at the CSIR - National Institute of Oceanography, studying bioluminescent bacteria and their reactions to various chemicals. Additional experiences include a Summer Internship at the ICAR-Central Institute of Fisheries Technology, working on marine fishes and microbial consortia, as well as a Bachelor Thesis at Sree Sankara College, which involved isolating bioluminescent bacteria from marine environments. Sisira holds a Master of Science degree in Microbiology and is currently pursuing a PhD in Biotechnology at Cochin University of Science and Technology.
