Guanhua Ding

Guanhua Ding has diverse work experience in machine learning engineering and data science. Guanhua is currently working as a Staff Machine Learning Engineer at CoCoPIE LLC since December 2021.

Prior to this, they worked at Glodon Company Limited from January 2020 to December 2021, where they held the position of Senior Machine Learning Engineer/Data Scientist. In this role, they developed and optimized models for CV Pose estimation, object matching, object detection, and semantic segmentation. Guanhua achieved significant improvements in accuracy for both beam structure recognition and semantic segmentation.

Before joining Glodon, Guanhua Ding was a Machine Learning Engineer at the same company from September 2018 to January 2020. In this role, they focused on NLP classification, recommendation, semantic similarity, object detection, and ML classification. Guanhua developed models to understand semantic inclusion and achieved better accuracy compared to the original algorithms. Prior to their industry experience, Guanhua Ding worked as a Graduate Student Research Assistant at Stevens Institute of Technology from September 2017 to May 2018. During this time, they worked on projects related to text sentiment analysis, stock return analysis, and student feedback analysis.

Before joining the institute, they worked as a Data Scientist at Hangzhou Testing Alliance Technology from September 2016 to January 2018. Here, they contributed to the development of the CapsNet Research Project, implemented fine-grained image classification models, and developed an auto-news system for news mining, analysis, and classification.

Additionally, Guanhua Ding worked as a Software Engineer at Hangzhou Lifang Technology from May 2016 to September 2016. In this role, they developed a product support and management system and managed databases for improved work efficiency.
