Tracey Patterson

VP, Social Safety Net at Code for America

Tracey Patterson is the VP of Social Safety Net at Code for America. Previously, Tracey was the Director of Engagement and Strategy for California Food Policy Advocates, where she worked with communities across the state to develop promising policy solutions and led successful state legislative campaigns to increase equitable access to nutritious, affordable food. Before that, Tracey worked with low-income communities in San Francisco, New Orleans, and New York City to advance health equity through organizing and education programs. She is passionate about advancing meaningful change by building relationships between communities, policymakers, coalitions, direct service organizations, researchers, and activists. She received an MPH from the CUNY School of Public Health, and is a graduate of the University of Oregon. Tracey lives with her family in the East Bay.
