Michael Gersh has held a variety of roles in a range of companies since 1991. Michael began their career at Alltel Information Services as a Senior Systems Specialist, where they maintained Republic National Bank's demand deposit system. In 1995, they joined Citicorp as an Assistant Vice President of National Branch Systems, where they designed a new teller and branch application to be used in over 500 branches nationwide. That same year, they also founded Daedalus World Wide Corporation / Commissioner.com, where they directed the launch of Commissioner. COM, the first on-line fantasy sports statistics service and platform. In 1999, they were General Manager of Fantasy Sports at SportsLine.com, where they managed all aspects of a 30 person fantasy sports division. In 2003, they co-founded Multiply, a social networking and media sharing web site, and grew the company to ~100 employees and 20 million monthly visitors. In 2014, they were the first hire at Pixidio Inc, a software company building a suite of applications to make souvenir photography simple and fun. Michael coordinated and participated in seed round presentations and negotiations, and successfully raised seed round. In 2016, they acted as an Advisor for StoryMD, a comprehensive, integrated, health focused online platform. Finally, in 2021, they joined New Relic, Inc. as Senior Director of Product Management and Principal Marketing Manager.

Michael Gersh attended Smithtown High School East from 1982 to 1986 and then went on to earn a B.S. in Industrial Management from Carnegie Mellon University from 1986 to 1990.
