David Young

David Young has a diverse work experience in the pharmaceutical industry. David is currently the Director of Business Development at Codexis, Inc. Prior to this, they worked at MilliporeSigma as an Application Manager and then as a Business Development professional in the formulation and drug delivery field. Before that, David worked at Par Pharmaceutical in various roles, including QA Associate Director, Sr. QA Manager Production Operations, and QA Manager. Their earliest experience was at Cephalon, where they held positions as a QA Supervisor and QA Associate in the Production Operations department. David has a strong background in quality assurance, process improvement, risk assessment, and CAPA investigations.

David Young's education history begins in 1997 when they attended Snow College and obtained an Associate of Science (A.S.) degree. David then went on to Southern Utah University from 2000 to 2002 and earned a Bachelor of Applied Science (BASc) degree with a focus on History and Biology. In 2009, David enrolled at Boston University and completed a Master of Science (MS) degree in Project Management in 2011.

In addition to their degrees, David has also obtained additional certifications. David is a Certified Quality Auditor and a Certified Quality Manager, both acquired from ASQ. It is not known when exactly they obtained these certifications.
