Ted Haxo has extensive experience in various roles within the biotechnology and life sciences industry. Ted currently holds the position of Vice President Operations at Codexis, Inc. since February 2022. Prior to this, they served as the Site Manager & Head of ProZyme Operations at Agilent Technologies from November 2019 to November 2021.

Ted's longest tenure was at ProZyme, Inc, where they held the role of Chief Operating Officer & Vice President of Operations and Product Development from February 2008 to November 2019. During their time there, they played a key role in building organizational capabilities for developing and launching new glycobiology products. Ted successfully commercialized over 30 new glycobiology products and 100 new standards, contributing to the company's acquisition.

Before ProZyme, Ted worked at Cortex Biochem, Inc as the Director of Manufacturing and Operations from April 2006 to December 2007. Ted was responsible for analyzing and implementing core business practices and long-term strategic planning.

Ted also had significant contributions at Quantum Dot Corporation. Ted held the position of Associate Director, Product Development from January 2005 to February 2006 and played a crucial role in the successful launch of the company's flagship product, generating substantial annual revenues. Additionally, they served as the Quality Manager from November 2001 to December 2004, where they built the QA/QC department and established the quality management system.

Their earlier experience includes roles at Applied Biosystems, where they worked as a Senior Development Scientist & Supervisor, Oligonucleotide Synthesis from 1995 to 2001, leading a major initiative for high-throughput TaqMan probe manufacture. Prior to that, Ted worked as a Process Development Scientist, Phosphoramidite Synthesis and Analytical Method Development Chemist, Quality Assurance at APPLIED BIOSYSTEMS from 1992 to 1995.

Throughout their career, Ted Haxo has demonstrated expertise in operations management, product development, commercialization, team leadership, and strategic planning.

Ted Haxo obtained a Bachelor of Arts degree in Chemistry and Art History from the University of California, Santa Cruz. The specific timeframe for this educational achievement is not provided.
