Kevin Flanagan has a diverse work experience spanning from 2008 to 2017. In 2008, they were an Undergraduate Research Associate at the University of Notre Dame, and an Intern in the Corporate Work Study Program at Cristo Rey Kansas City. In 2009, they were a Summer Undergraduate Research Fellow at the University of Kansas Medical Center. From 2011 to 2017, they were a Ph.D. Candidate at Washington University in St. Louis, where they used molecular, cellular, and mammalian model systems to study aging, cancer, and the tumor microenvironment. Additionally, they held three roles at Cofactor Genomics, starting in 2017: Director of Translational Science, Senior Scientist, R&D, and Scientist III.
Kevin Flanagan obtained a Bachelor of Science in Biological Sciences and Philosophy from the University of Notre Dame in 2011. Kevin then went on to pursue a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Molecular Cell Biology from Washington University in St. Louis, which they completed in 2017. Prior to that, they attended Rockhurst High School from 2003 to 2007.
