Doug Hagen

Doug Hagen has extensive work experience in the field of research and development, technical product ownership, and engineering.

Doug started their career at the University at Buffalo as a CIT Help Desk Supervisor, where they resolved over 6,400 support issues and was responsible for hiring and training Help Desk consultants.

Doug then worked at Seevast as a Programmer, where they re-engineered API systems and built a domain parking SAAS offering.

After that, they joined ManTech as a Senior Developer, where they successfully resolved performance issues of a fielded solution crucial to the war on terror.

Doug then worked at Intrepidus Group as a Lead Developer for their side project PhishMe, conducting security audits and penetration testing.

Subsequently, they joined PhishMe, Inc. as Employee #1 and grew the production engineering team to over 40 developers as the Vice President of Engineering. Doug also streamlined and matured development, deployment, and support processes.

Doug continued working at PhishMe when it was rebranded as COFENSE, where they played a crucial role as the Principal in Research and Development and also served as the Technical Product Owner. Doug engineered various proof-of-concept projects which evolved into production solutions and enhancements.

Throughout their career, Doug Hagen has demonstrated strong technical skills, leadership capabilities, and the ability to drive successful outcomes.

Doug Hagen attended the University at Buffalo from 1998 to 2003, where they obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration with a focus on Management Information Technology.
