Matt Murphy

Matt Murphy has a diverse work experience in various software engineering roles. Matt is currently working as a Software Engineer at Cognite AS since September 2020. Before this, they worked as a Software Engineer, UI at Ripple from September 2019 to December 2019. Matt also had a previous stint at Cognite AS as a Software Engineer from January 2019 to May 2019. Prior to that, Matt was a Full Stack Software Engineer at GotIt Inc from May 2018 to August 2018. Matt primarily worked on frontend development using ReactJS/Redux technologies and contributed to maintaining and developing new features for web applications. Matt also has experience as a Software Engineer at Imagine Communications, where they worked on converting a Silverlight application to a native WPF application using XAML and C#. Matt was responsible for creating and maintaining unit tests. Additionally, Matt worked as an IT Project Manager at HGS International, where they implemented a new server system in multiple company offices. Matt conducted server and employee workstation set-up, as well as employee training. Matt started their career as an Accessory Project Coordinator at BlackBerry in April 2015, where they gained valuable project coordination skills.

Matt Murphy earned a Bachelor's degree in Computer Software Engineering from the University of Waterloo. Matt attended the university from 2015 to 2020.
