Satya Pavitra Rani

Pavitra Rani began their work experience as a Research and Development Intern at LV Prasad Eye Institute in Hyderabad in June 2015. Pavitra then joined Rutgers University-New Brunswick as a Graduate Student in September 2016, and later worked as a Graduate Student Researcher from January 2017 to October 2018.

In October 2019, Pavitra joined CognitiveCare as an Associate Data Scientist, where they were part of the core data science team. Their responsibilities included modeling and tuning machine learning and deep learning algorithms, evaluating their performance, and developing pipelines for structured data processing, cleansing, and exploratory data analysis. Pavitra held this position until April 2022.

Following this role, Pavitra became a Senior Data Scientist at CognitiveCare in April 2022. In this position, they were primarily responsible for delivering a proof of concept for the Gates Foundation, focusing on predicting the risk outcome of a pregnancy. Pavitra successfully modeled machine learning and deep learning-based algorithms and evaluated their performance metrics. Additionally, they formulated strategies and pipelines for pre- and post-processing of patient-level encounter datasets.

Pavitra's most recent role was Chief of Staff at CognitiveCare, starting in March 2022 and ending in January 2023.

Pavitra Rani obtained a Bachelor's degree in Biotechnology from Osmania University in the years 2012 to 2016. Following that, they pursued a Master of Science (MS) degree in Bioengineering and Biomedical Engineering at Rutgers University from 2016 to 2018. In terms of additional certifications, Pavitra received a certification in "Getting Started with AWS Machine Learning" from Coursera in July 2021 and a certification in "Data or Specimens Only Research" from the CITI Program in March 2023.
